The restaurant is divided into 3 different dining halls, so that our guests can enjoy their meals in absolutely quiet atmosphere. Or, when the weather allows it, it is possible to sit in the garden underneath a gorgeous arbour.
Our cuisine proposes genuine seasonal dishes: classical dishes of the Langhe region, such as the ravioli del plin (home made pasta, with vegetable/meat filling), braised meat and stews, tajarin (hand made egg tagliatelle) made with the eggs of our chickens, carne cruda battuta al coltello (raw veal meat chopped by knife) and the bonet (traditional sweet pudding), as well as more creative dishes, always made with seasonal ingredients coming from this generous and rich land called Langhe.
Among the ingredients from our garden there are vegetables, fruit and aromatic herbs grown organically; other appreciated local products that we like to serve are the cadoons from Nizza, the leeks from Cervere and the square peppers from Carmagnola.
From our own woods around Agriturismo San Martino come the truffles and the mushrooms that enrich our dishes in the restaurant.
We often serve dishes that belong to our antique tradition: vitello tonnato (cold veal meat with tuna mayonnaise sauce), minestrone (vegetable soup), bagnet verd (green sauce made with parsley), Piedmontese agnolotti and raviolini del plin (home made pasta, with vegetable/meat filling), summer and winter capunet (rolls with different filling depending on the season) and so on.
Obviously the main ingredient of our desserts is our hazelnut, the “round and gentle” variety grown in our fields.
